A swap fee is a small charge applied when you keep a trade open overnight.
The swap rate is usually based on the interest rate difference between the currencies or assets you’re trading, and whether you’re buying or selling.
Leverage means you can trade a larger amount in the market using a smaller amount of your own money. The level of leverage you choose depends on how much risk you’re comfortable taking - higher leverage can increase both profits and losses.
If you’re unsure what to choose, it’s a good idea to speak with a mentor or do some research online to better understand how it works. Keep in mind that leverage can vary depending on the asset or currency pair you’re trading.

Our margin rules are the following:
- Margin Call - 100%
- Stop Out level - 70%
You can see your Margin Level on your Trading Platform of choice.
If your Margin Level drops to 100%, you’ll get a margin call, which means you won’t be able to open any new trades.
If it falls to 70% or below, a stop-out will occur. This means the platform will automatically start closing your open trades, starting with the biggest losers, to help prevent your account from going into a negative balance.
